300TCE TREE SHEAR FOR FOREST MACHINES AND BIGGER TRACTOR CRANES

The 300TCE is intended for use in forest machines and bigger tractor cranes. It is also well suited for trucks equipped with a crane.

For professional energy wood harvesting, the 300TCE strengths are its very good multi tree handling capacity combined with fast guillotine cutting and excellent loading properties.

Several trees can be collected without making so-called intermediate fellings, which significantly increases the efficiency of work on small-tree sites by more than half. The automatic collector works with two collection jaws, which tightly squeeze the collected trees in their grip, making the collection precise. Collector jaws move automatically thanks to the internal hydraulic control of the tree shear. User does not need to make separate control movements to perform the collection functions.

The strong and fast guillotine, which operates with two knife blades, always cuts even the smallest twig cleanly and does not pull out the roots. The guillotine’s cutting capacity is a maximum of 30 cm in diameter, which is already quite sufficient for energy wood.

Energy wood can be loaded into piles or into a load with the same tree shear thanks to its good loading capacity. The grapple has an opening of 125 cm and its geometry is excellent for loading. The guillotine’s blades are always automatically protected in their housing during loading, so loading is just as successful as with a normal wood grapple.

300TCE is equipped with a wireless electrical controlled tilt function, which brings several benefits. When felling trees, tilting is precise. Tree shear only falls when the micro switch is pressed in the cabin. The increase in the system’s hydraulic pressure does not affect the tilt operation, for example when the tree is being cut with a guillotine. This ensures that the grapple never accidentally tilts while the tree is still being cut.

When loading trees, a significant advantage of the electric tilt is that the grapple can also be turned from a horizontal position to a vertical position with the tree shear. Moving wood materials vertically requires less working space and the work is significantly faster.

In addition to the above functions, the 300TCE is equipped with a delimber, which allows the tree’s to be delimbed using the crane’s lifting movement.

The 300TCE is quick to get installed. The tree shear is attached to the forest crane rotator and 2pcs hydraulic hoses are connected, just like installing a normal wood grapple. The tree shear has a wireless receiver for the tilt function pre-installed at the factory. Only a wireless transmitter/micro switch is brought into the machine’s cabin and the micros witch controls the tilt function. There is no need to install any electrical cables along the crane boom.
